Thursday Nights the Exploratorium is open to adults only, from 6-10. Walking by I decided to stop and see the new Exploratorium. I ended up staying all evening on my own exploring every single exhibition and having the best time. The exhibitons are the same as they were at the Palace of Fine Arts only better because the new Exploratorium is three times bigger than the Palace of Fine Arts. It is not crowed at all on Thursday evenings, and there are planty of staff around to help, or explain..so many of the exhibits are charming and make you smile, everything is fun, the new exploritorium has a resturant , and there are drink stands throught out the exploritorium, which sell beer, wine, and drinks! Fun Fun Fun!
On my way home, I stopped in the Americas Cup Pavillion which is not as impressive as I imagined. Lounges everywhere, heavly sponsored bars, cafe’s, jumbo screens, out door games, the Pavillion has all of the ingridients of a fun place, but its so generic, temporary and far from feeling what feels like San Francisco that instead of feeling open to all , and welcoming, it feels privalged, snoby, and closed to the public. The Pavillion is open to the public, it’s free, and the races are very interesting despite the less than welcoming feeling.of the Pavillion. .Because of the Americas Cup tourism is way up in San Francisco, and its tourist who are at the Pavillion.
Apple Computer In Downtown San Francisco is so crazy busy, loud, and annoying its easy to walk in and walk out…but I had a giant problem that took two days to fix. The retail assiatance are in a word, AMAZING.. not only did they work with me step by step to ressolve my issues, they then sat with me and taught me how to fix my problem so that in the future I can do it myself. Two days later I returned to finish what the problem was and my fourth helper as equally fantastic…on top of that the service is free..which is also Amazing!
