This year was the first time in a long time that we went to Carnival as spectators and not as a family members of a performer or the photographer of the Performer…That performer is my Mother ! We had excellent seats and we all wore flowered crowns! You can not go to Carnival without a costume …Carnival is San Francisco is celebration of life told through Latin Culture. It takes place in the Mission District in San Francisco, every Memorial Day Weekend. It is truly FANTASTIC so colorful and lively , so many dance troupes participate that its an endless parade of dance, from around the world. Carnival is a San Francisco tradition that is truly one of a kind!
