Well it’s not exactly Crab Season it’s actually the end of Crab Season and the beginning of Salmon Season…but Beyond The Fog had the PLEASURE of going with a Pro to buy fresh fresh fresh fish right off the Boat at a cool little spot Between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay! an adorable town called Prinston By The Sea..It’s a very small very cute town right on the Ocean right off of Highway One..going South..The vibe was locals who are getting away for the afternoon for Fresh Fish..Sea Food Lunch Spots, Picnics, and families enjoying our early spring warm weather…..all milling about… when you arrive you look for a place called Piller Point Harbor you go down to the dock and row after row you will see the boats in the Harbor …most are commercial fisherman who are selling fish right off the boat! super fresh.. local …no middle man! two crabs were 22 dollars and because my friend is in the food business his fisherman friend a man named Mike gave us two additional rock Crab! Then to avoid cleaning them and cooking them yourself, you give them to the local fish market and they cook them up for you, clean them and they are ready to crack and eat… I had mine with a giant salad, warm butter and fresh crab! the next day I had some with my eggs in the morning…Crab is such a TREAT!!!!!!!! Yumm.. and we all deserve a treat.. This was the PERFECT Sunday afternoon …outing….
