Fall in the Bay Area is like Christmas… Beginning with the end of Baseball Season this year the San Francisco Giants won the World Series the games and the Giant Parade was SPECTACULAR! Orange and Black everywhere… that evening was Halloween and in San Francisco that means decked out houses and fantastic costumes on kids and adults.
Many neighborhoods transform their houses into Halloween Villages with scary Mansions, its very beautiful!
A special place to relax is the Blue Fig on Mission between 20th and 21st a cute” Hippy Style” cafe’ with a variety of food, its very romantic to sit at a cafe’ table with a book, and watch to world go by, the cafe’ tables are located in the” cut out” of the sidewalk the newly made cafe’ seating that is taking over San Francisco like weeds, it’s a cozy to feel so protected and out of the way of the foot traffic and street traffic! Yes it takes away from parking but that’s ok because it adds to the beauty of San Francisco and encourages, bike and walking instead of cars…Fall there is nothing quiet like it in the City by the Bay!
