In his tenure as Vice President of A&R at Warner Brothers, David signed The Flaming Lips, Nick Cave, and The Texas Tornados. Next, he launched a series of independent record labels, specializing in exciting underground bands and archival, historically significant recordings. He and his wife have just completed a project to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Sun Ra film Space Is the Place and they are currently producing a box set tribute to Specialty Records, a label significant in the development of rock and roll. Together, they curate an unforgettable music-lover’s night out.
